Ingredients: Palak - 2 bunches (small) Tomatoes - 5 (blanched and puree) Onion - paste of 2 Cashewnuts - 2 handful(made into a paste) Dhania powder - 3 tsps Haldi a pinch Jeera powder - 3 tsps Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsps Red chilli powder - 2 tsps Salt to taste Butter - 8 tbsps Paneer - 100 gms(fried) METHOD 1. Blanch the palak and drain the water. Keep it aside. 2. In a pan add 2 tbsps of butter and fry the palak a little until all the butter is on it. Grind and make a fine paste of it. 3. In a seperate kadai add 6 tbsps of butter and add the onion paste fry till done. 4. Then add the tomato paste and the cashew paste allow to cook. 5. After cooked well add ginger garlic paste and allow to cook for some more time. 6. Then add salt, dhania powder, jeera powder, redchilli powder and haldi. 7. Cook well then add the palak paste. 8. Cover for 10-12 minutes to cook in medium flame. 9. After done add fried paneer to it. 10. Serve hot with roti or nan. |
