Gobi Manchurian Ingredients: medium gobi or cauliflower clean and broken into big florettes. 1/4 cup plain flour 1 small bunch spring onoin finely chopped 3 Cloves Garlic, fine chopped 1/2 " Ginger, fine chopped 1 tbsp garlic paste 1 tbsp ginger paste 6 to 8 green chillies 3 tbsps. Oil 3 tbsps. Corn Flour 1/4 tsp. red chilli powder Gobi Manchurian
Method: In a large bowl,combine the flour, cornflour, salt, soy sauce, garlic/ginger paste,and chilli powder. Mix well with water, till you get the consistency of thin batter. Keep aside. Boil the florettes for 3-4 minutes in plenty of water and drain it. Dip it in the batter one by one and deep fry in hot oil. Keep aside. In a open pan, add some oil. Put the cut Garlic,Ginger and green chillies and fry them until they start to turn brown. Add the salt and spring onions. Stir fry for a minute. Add water and bring to a boil. Add 1 tbsp. cornflour to water and dissolve well. Put it into the gravy and stir continuously till boiling. Add florettes and soya sauce. Boil for a minutes and remove. If you desire, you can add the cauliflower when the mixture is in the pan itself in the last stage. Serve it hot.
