London, Oct 12 (IANS) Indian food may be hot in Britain and the British might well claim that chicken tikka masala is their own creation, but when it comes to takeaway food, Chinese remains the all-time favourite.
A new survey has found that 43 percent of people in Britain prefer to order a Chinese takeaway, while 24 percent said they preferred Indian.
Old British speciality fish and chips got 14 percent of the votes.
The survey, conducted by pharmaceutical brand WindSetlers among 3,000 respondents, found that 34 percent of the people order the same takeaway every time.
