Banana Blossom Chutney
Ingredients:
blossom florets - 1 cup
urad dal( white coloured lentil)
dried red chillies-5
sesame- 1/2tsp
sugar- a dash )
coconut-11/2 tsp (optional
tamarind paste ( remove seeds if using pods)
salt-1/4spoon
black pepper-1/2 spoon

Method:
Cut florets into small size.
Cook in boiling water and drain or pressure cook without water if you have one.
Dry roast sesame and in a 1tsp of oil,fry urad dal,dried red chillies,pepper and ground with tamarind paste, salt into a coarse paste in a small grinder of food processor preferably indian model where small jar is available.
Add coarse paste into cooked florets .
It goes well as side dish or rice accompaniement.
