Khatti Meethi Dal
Ingredients:
1/4 cup toovar dal
1/4 cup split moong dal chilkewali
2 tbsp chana dal
2 tbsp red lentil or masoor dal
1 cup chopped raw mango
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1 onion, chopped finely
2 tbsp grated jaggery
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 whole red chillies
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp haldi powder
salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing


Method
1.wash and soak the dals for 10 mins.
2.In a pressure cooker,heat 2 tbsp ghee.add the mustard seeds and whole red chilli.
3.Add the onion, chopped tomatoes and green chillies. Fry for 2 minutes.
4.Add the chopped mangoes and saute for 2 minutes.
5. Add the dal and 2 and 1/2 cups of water. and cook for 15 mins.
6. Add the salt to taste and jaggery. Mix well.
7. Serve hot garnihed with coriander leaves.
