Dal Recipes

Dal is an Indian word for peas, beans, pulses or lentils. In certain parts of India, soup is sometimes refered to as dal. Dal is considered to be very high in fiber and protein. It is a staple for either lunch or dinner in Indian cooking. Dal dishes ranges from spicy, sweet, soups, or dry thick as as side dish.
