Plain Boiled Rice
Ingredients:
9 ozs (250 g) basmati rice
2/3 pints (500 mils) hot water
60 g oil
Preparation
1. Clean, wash, and soak rice in 2/3 pints water.
2. Separate rice from water.
3. Heat oil in pan, when sizzling, add rice and cook for 5-7 minutes.
4. Heat water saved from rice, add to cooked rice.
5. Stir and cover for few minutes, then serve.
