Besan Ka Chilla
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup Besan ( chick pea flour )
1/2 t salt
1/2 t Red Chilli Powder
1 finely chopped onion ( Red Onion or Spanish Onion)
2 -inch piece of ginger, very finely chopped
2 Green Chillies, very finely chopped
One tomatoe finely diced.
Green Coriander - finely chopped 1 tablespoon
One tsp coriander powder

Method:
1. Place the besan (chick pea flour) in a large mixing bowl.
2. Add water (about 1 cup) and stir to make a smooth batter.
3. Use a spoon or a whisk, make sure there are no lumps.
4. Add all other ingredients now and mix well and leave for 10 minutes.
4.Take a heavy bottomed skillet , fry pan or Tawa and put it on medium heat, put some oil on the pan.
5. Once the pan is hot pour a cup full of this batter in the center of the pan and let it spread like an omlette ( you have to cook it like a pan cake or an omlette)
7. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes and turn the side and cook on the other side.
8. Everytime you put a new chilla on the pan make sure that you put some oil on the pan.
9. Serve with Green Chutney
